My name is Ana Ramirez, and I am a 4th year sociocultural anthropology PhD student. Key words in my research are Indigenous women, gender-based violence, trauma, community and families, and healing. I’m interested in an activist approach to research that is inspired by a Black feminist ethos and Indigenous decolonial thinking.
