Dahlia Boyles (she/her) is a third-year doctoral student and teaching fellow in the Department of Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research concerns the relationship between labor and discourses of worthiness within hunger relief organizations. For the Graduate Certificate in Participatory Research practicum, Dahlia is currently conducting community-engaged research with a local hunger relief organization, PORCH.
